Philippine government issues bounty for Senator Ronald dela Rosa
On Friday, Philippine Interior Secretary Juanito Victor Remulla announced a 50 million peso (US$786,000) bounty for the capture of Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, labeling him armed and dangerous. Dela Rosa, the former police chief and primary enforcer of ex-president Rodrigo Duterte’s anti-drug crackdown, had been in hiding since the International Criminal Court unsealed an arrest warrant against him in May 2026. This development occurred approximately one month before the scheduled November 30 trial of Rodrigo Duterte for crimes against humanity, specifically murder and attempted murder.
