Haiti: Capoeira classes aim to promote peace

The association “Capoeira and Social Education in Haiti” (CESOHA) organized capoeira classes in Pétion-Ville to address community violence and facilitate social reintegration. Founder Rodney Jean Marc stated that the program was open to all participants, including children associated with armed gangs. This initiative emerged as the security situation in Haiti continued to worsen in recent years.
